ABOUT US
Texas Royalty Corp was incorporated in Tyler, Texas in June, 1986. Tom R. Schoonover, one of the founding stockholders, purchased 100% control of the corporation in May, 1987. Texas Royalty moved from Tyler, Texas to Austin, Texas in 1995 and remains there today. In 2004, we purchased our current corporate headquarters in Austin's Westlake neighborhood on Loop 360 just north of Bee Cave Road.
Texas Royalty is active throughout the State of Texas and regionally in Kansas, Oklahoma, Louisiana and Mississippi, drilling both vertical and horizontal wellbores, capitalizing on new trends and technology in the industry. We partner in 2-D and 3-D seismic shoots that generate high grade drilling opportunities. Our energy and expertise allow us to move forward with leading edge technologies that build on our tradition of success. The Corporation remains nimble and is poised to capitalize on opportunities throughout the oil patch.
At Texas Royalty, we look to outside investors to help fund some of our drilling prospects, and we encourage you to inquire about participation. We also invest in outside-operated oil and gas ventures and always welcome the opportunity to be a part of your next Oil & Gas venture.
